I'm 12 dpo and just really anxious to know if I'm pregnant or not. I've already urinated (sorry, too much info) 3 hours ago and just had cereal. Is it okay to test right now or you think urine will be diluted with milk?

(Sorry if stupid question - - just very impatient)

Thanks in advance!

Thanks everyone! I just tested with ClearBlue Early Pregnancy Test and it's a negative. :( Since I'm 12dpo, I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant.

I know you just got a negative test, but I would still test again in a couple of days just to be sure. (tomorrow if you're anxious). Hpt's test for hCG, which doesn't start being produced until implantation occurs. Implantation can be anywhere between 6 & 12dpo. So, if you just implanted today, odds are the hCG hasnt built up enough for a + test yet. I've read that it can take 2-4 days after implantation to get a +, so I wouldn't take that negative as abslute just yet.

Morning urine (or urine once you have been slumbering for a number of hours) has the utmost concentration of hCG in case you're pregnant. So, morning urine in basic terms supplies you a miles better hazard at getting an precise effect, because of the fact you should be pregnant however the hormone point is decrease later interior the day and consequently the try ought to coach a pretend detrimental.

Actually a lot of women have success testing with second morning urine. If your pregnant, the hormone is going to be light in your system right now, but its worth a shot. If you do get a negative, then test again in the morning. You can also wait about 3 hours without drinking anything to concentrate your urine and test with it.

Good luck.

I didn't use first morning urine and I was 11 dpo and got a positive. Of course it's better to wait for the first morning urine but no one says you must! Go ahead and try. If you don't get an accurate answer, try again tomorrow! Good luck!

It'll be fine. I got a positive with both pregnancies before my period was due, not using first morning urine. If the test is negative, wait a couple of days and test again.

If you have enough hormones built up then it doesn't matter what time you test. if your pregnant it will say so. it just says to used first morning urine because that's when the hormones are going to be the strongest. I tested will all 3 of mine in the evening and got positives.

Urine won't be diluted with milk, as it is sterile.

However, the first morning urine has the highest concentration- the hormone is still present through the day.

I would take the test, if neg. take one tomorrow.

I would wait to test until tomorrow morning first thing when you get up. I am playing the waiting game too and it's killing me! But I am only 8 dpo so I am waiting until Wed to test.
Good luck!
