As I aged I've noticed my toenails aer thicker. Are yours harder to cut? Can you still confortably reach them?

Yup, and, naked, I can still put my hands flat on the floor. With jeans on, I can touch the floor with my finger tips.
Toe fungus? Put on VICKS VAPOR RUB at least 2 times a day. It might take 2 - 4 weeks to COMPLETELY clear up. Keep the nail cut to the quick while healing. After that, apply V V R once a week.
It DOES work.

I don't have this problem yet. I hope I don't ever, but anyway my mom does. Her toenails have actually curled! I try to cut them for her but they are so thick. I can do some but not all after she has soaked her feet to get them soften. She has a pot belly so she can't bend over very well.

She also went to the doctor for toenail fungus and it did not work. I told her about Tea Tree Oil and it cleared up right away. To the post below, never heard of using Vicks VapoRub. Might tell my mom about it.

Only one. My daughter is sure that I smashed it into something. It has stopped growing as well.

Although I can still reach my toenails (with a bit of squishing) I can't see them well enough to cut them accurately, unless I am outside in bright sunlight. So I have taken to cutting them while sitting on the deck stairs, in the mornings while the sun is shining fully on those stairs.

Otherwise, my youngest daughter does them for me. She has filed the thick one down until it looks just like all the others.

Yes they have and very thick till they hurt. Went to the Dr. and said nail fungus and wouldn't give me anything, because of my heart. They used a grinder and thinned them out, felt so much better. So I went and bought a very small one at the beauty supply store that grinds artificial nails and try to keep mine ground down now. They are like very small Drimmel Drills, that you buy in the tools. Sometimes it is hard to get them where I want them, but I work it out. I have read a lot about Vicks and Listerine, I ried Vicks, but didn't want to smell like it and didn't do it during the day.

Miz Tidy Bowl here, I have a good pair of strong stainless toe nail scissors, up goes the lid on goes all the lights and my foot goes on the pot and off comes the nails. Yep, they are thicker, easiest to cut once I have done the girlie bubble bath scrub and soak.

In childhood wind is excessive, so children run like wind.
As you grow above 14 heat is excessive - one is hot and charming.
Further we grow humidity is excessive and you put on more.

So far I have no problem. I remember my mother-in-law had a problem and was embarrassed to finally ask us for assistance. I noticed my Senior Center has someone come once a month and do this for seniors at a reasonable price. I was glad to see that.

I can still reach them, but I had that toenail fungus and took medication for 42 days , it didn't help though, still have it!

I go once every 6 weeks and have them done, its only 25 dollars and a treat to myself, but yes can reach my toe nails.

only the big toe on my right foot has gone thicker I soak them in a foot spa first they cut easier after that
