Whenever that happens to me I find it a little odd...I don't know why.

My ring comes from Africa so I just make some comment about that...besides thank you I don't know what else to stay while they keep staring at it. LOL

My wife gets compliments all the time on her flawless 1 1/4 carat diamond. I wanted to upgrade it to a 2 carat for her but she was too afraid that it would draw too much attention. As we were looking at an approximately $20,000 ring... the couple next to us (much older) were looking at a flawless 6 carat (over $200,000).

I told her she didn't have much to worry about with her ring.

I get a lot of comments from a lot of people on my engagement ring. I don't know if I'd call them compliments really.....maybe they are trying to make a compliment but they come out stupid.

Yes. Mine was hand made in Morocco so when anyone in the US sees it they find it unusual and intriguing.

I have, but only by male friends, so it's never been too weird. It IS a nice ring-- picked it out myself ; )

umm... I don't wear my wedding band/engagement ring...

I left it home with my parents :D =) bcz they said I'm too clumsy n would loose it :D

Glad I left it there... cz I have lost tons of stuff ever since we came :D
