I love this! I used to roll down a hill; it always hurt more than the thrill of it because it was not as soft as I expected, but I'd go again. I love your gram, and they way she'd wipe your face with a lick on her apron -- I remember the days when parents thought it was okay to wash the kids off with their spittle. Now, it would be gross.
