And these people have the gall to criticize Bill & Hillary Clinton, right or wrong the Clintons are far more normal Senators Craig, Foley and Hastert. So much for your "Family Values" GOP. If you have folks who tip toe through the tulips, at least own up to it. He was peeking into a public bathroom at an airport policeman, then when the officer showed no interest, he gave his Congressional business card to the officer, like it's supposed to make it ok. He was known to be a steadfast blowhard conservative who has opposed gays in the military and gay marriage, on top of the fact he has a wife and family, he is doing a poor job of protecting. I am always suspicious of conservative "family values" blowhards; they tend to be hipocrites who are trying to compensate for something! Like not having the homelife they pretend to have!

Rumors about him being gay went around back in the 1980's. Now he is caught playing footsy with a guy in a known hang out for gays....and then pleads guilty to it. The facts proved the rumors true. He's gay!! But I don't think he did anything incredibly wrong that would warrant his resignation and all the publicity! But if he is gay and brought up anti-gay agendas in Congress, I would say he is the same kind of hypocrite as the Rev. Haggard from Colorado Springs...

Gay, very gay. He has a wife and children because that's what's expected of him by society and the All Mighty Republican Party (someone turn on the spotlights!!)but I think that had he been able to be what he really needed to be, he'd have been happier being gay. Here's a man who votes down bills that could help us, goes to church and claims not be us, and who finally gets caught with his hands in "our!" cookie jar.
Laughable yes and very sad in another. Too many of the GOP and Democrats in the government are closet cases who are angered by repressed desires.
I wonder if we were allowed to be ourselves how much less violence there actually would be in the world.

Good question. Does society define someone who has sex with the same sex as "gay"?
I think of my Gay brothers as people who have embraced who they are and live openly that way. Craig allegedly likes to have sex with guys which part of our society views as shameful. He also allegedly was soliciting sex in a public place which our society also frowns on, although I can't recall any heterosexual couples being prosecuted for joining the "mile high club".

I don't know if I'd file Larry under "gay." But "sad" and "pathetic"? I think we could copy his life and put it under each category.
