My friend(really I mean a friend not ME) found this page on myspace where this lady set up a page to give teens advice. Anyway she sent me a link : myspace.com/ms_teen_advice and I was wondering if any ppls would actually ask them something.

I'm sure they would. What's the point of making the page if nobody asks them for advise.

People do it here on Yahoo every single day. That's why we are all here. We're looking for other opinions and advice or we want to help someone else. As with anything, you have to be careful what you ask and whose advice you take. That's just common sense, but evidently a great many people feel this is a way to find help anonymously and from a broad spectrum of people.

You say a lady set up this MySpace page to give kids advice and then you ask if anyone would ask "them" something. Is this woman running it or does is she part of an organization? I am always leery of things on MySpace after what happened with my cousin's granddaughters. Keep in mind that you don't know these people or anything about them and MySpace does not police their sites well.

The one thing you must not do is trust the Internet, you really have no idea who you are dealing with. stay away from pages like that , you may find out that its some strange guy on the other end, how would you know who you are really talken too. They say its a women, but it could be an old man, please stay away OK?

I'm sure they would. It's often good to get advise from someone who knows nothing about you. That way the don't have a slanted opinion of you and your situation, and they may introduce a totally new way of thinking about the situation. Plus, a lot of teens have problems that they don't feel comfortable talking to family, friends, or even local counsellors about.
