How good the movie is going to be - do you think it depends on the movie or how good the actors were.

It actually depends on everything.
You can have a great script, but terrible actors.
Great actors, but a terrible script.
Great script and great actors, but a terrible director.
Or any combination of the above.

It depends.
I find that I'm willing to forgive little problems (like uneven editing or a script that falls apart in the end) if the acting scenes are really good.
But if you put the greatest actors in the world in a horrible movie, they can't fix that. Try as they might.

You need both. If you use great actors with a bad script,you still are going to come out with a bad movie. Then if you use bad actors in a great scipt,it ruins the whole thing.

It takes both. If you have great actors and a crappy script you still have a crappy movie.
Good director + good actor(s) + good script + good editor (this is the one everyone forgets about) = good movie!
Remove any part and it all calls down.

what i've come to see from my own experiences it depends alot on how well the two work together or synergize...
for example you could have a good script with really funny content but it could come out pretty bad if your actors cant execute it.... likewise you can have a decent story but nothing special that gets elevated by the preformance
ive been making shorts for a while and noticed that you cant have just one they need to balance eachother out... see for yourself

It can depend on how the movie will turn out
but more importantly is for the equipment used for taping
will work. This has to be in working condition. It can also depend on the acting is too.

GREAT actors can only do so much with a crappy script - just the same way a perfectly written story can be screwed up by bad acting ;););)
