I am really interested in violin. I once studied piano (only for half a year when I was 8). Iam also looking for a teacher (manila and lipa city) and an instrument but I only have a budget of 12,500 - is this enough for even a month?

I started Violin around that same age to and I've made progress. Well, you can buy one from Ebay. I got my Stratovarius for a real good price.

As you get older it gets harder to learn, but that doesn't mean you can't learn - you just have to be more committed and put in more practice. You will need to be prepared to sound pretty bad for quite a while - the violin is not easy.

But I'd still say go for it, it will be much much easier for you to learn at 14 than if you still wanted to play in 10 years time and took it up then.

You can go to some music store. For the price of having a teacher teaching you, it depends. My teacher does 55$ for an hour. it's possible for you to have a teacher for one month, depends on how much your teacher want.
