Have you ever red the book The Secret Garden? Because it describes it PERFECTLY! With a little wooden swing in it and everything! :)

Greenhouses!!! Lots of greenhouses! In these greenhouses would probably be just about every plant known to humanity.

There would also be a plant nursery outside too, for the warmer months. And a stand by the road to sell the plants and garden supplies (we're going to have to have some income to maintain this garden).

Outside, there would be red hibiscus, white hydrandrea bushes, and blue hydrangrea and delphinium and other blue flowering plants along with all other manner of flowering plants, shrubs and trees. A man-made pond would be at the highest elevation of it and likewise, a river would go forth from the pond, through the center of the garden and descend to a waterfall and reflecting pool surrounded by various smaller gardens (rose, japanese, beautiful lawns, and manicured gardens, etc...)

There would be several orchards and farmed land, yielding various fruits and vegetables in their season.

All told, this garden is going to be very large, at least the size of Kansas and hopefully much larger, which is probably why it is still a "dream" garden.

Oh yes, and don't forget the shrubbery!!!!

contingent on the fact i could make anything grow at this garden I would have an arch way surrounded by shrubs , with a pathway to the center that lead me toward a pond about 10'x10' with tropical fish swimming and those flowers that flot in water cant remember the name . then I would have a gazebo surrounded by white pink and red roses , and as you walk through the garden it would bore tropical fruits such as passion fruit mangos ect. i would have grape vines and orange tree's , and in the back I would have several rows of hemp plants ( for rope and string of coarse ) I would also have several opium plants and cocoa plants NOT for illegal drug use though , I believe in developing medical research with natural stimulants and opiates to treat pain depression ect.

i suppose a bunch of zen things, like a pond with those giant koi fish,

The hottest of hot peppers.

Can't get hot enough for me. It's just a drag when my wife won't let me kiss her for an hour after I eat them.
