Yesterday. I was in the passenger seat stopped at a light. I saw a bicyclist coming toward the stoplight. As he approached, I also noticed a truck coming toward the intersection opposite of us. I knew the truck had a red light, and the cyclist had green. Anyway, the truck didn't slow down, and almost hit the cyclist. All I could do is watch, although I was ready to jump out and help if necessary.

When I was at a crowded mall in Burbank, CA and all of a sudden there was a commotion and people started screaming Help Help!!! It wasn't gunshots because people were running towards all the fuss, which was a child who got his sandle stuck in a moving elevator. I was in shock and felt helpless. Luckily someone dove into action and stopped the elevator and took him out of his sandel Do you ever see that in those instances that sometimes people just stand there doing nothing?

well..I couldn't look, but I was listening. I don't know if that counts... My friend called me around 2am last month. She has a habit of cutting, and this time it was pretty bad. She was crying so hard she could barely breathe. I couldn't understand most of what she said...I just wish I could have been at her house that night. Nothing I said made her feel any better, and I wish I could have done more.

A few weeks ago when I watched a panel truck make a U-Turn right in front of a guy on a motorcycle. I never have or never will get on a motorcycle.
