It was cancelled because of some "shady" dealings between the shows producers and a local law enforcement agency in the Dallas- Fort Worth area. There were strong suspicions that there was money or material goods changed hands from production company to agency. (A big "no-no", it's against the law.)

I was surprised that it was cancelled. At the same time, I couldn't believe the number of slime balls that would drive hours to a stranger's house sex, AFTER the show had been on television for several years.
It was fascinating and repulsive. So was Chris Hansen, with his smug attitude of moral superiority (obviously he was, anyone is superior to a child molester.) I was always suspicious that one of the molesters didn't grab him and make quick work of him-that's the natural consequence when you appear out of nowhere and present a "bad attitude" to horny, nervous strangers, wouldn't you think.
At any rate, the show managed to get some of them off the street and that is a good thing for the children of America, the only kids I'm frankly concerned about. The rest can run to their vile anti-American parents and their suffocating little societies.

I think it had something to with some legal, ethical, and financial implications towards the show. They were being accused of "setting up" the losers. Two lawsuits are pending against the network, one by a former producer and another by the sister of a man who committed suicide as police officers approached his house. They felt it was too much of a risk to keep it going, although I loved it! To get at least one person off the streets that intend to hurt a child works for me!

I wish just one time I could answer one of your questions, but I never know the answer. I didn't know they had cancelled it, but I like the show, too. And like you, I kept watching it to see if there would ever be anyone that I knew. Ha!

I know, their latest operation was in NJ, which is close enough to me- considering a lot of the men drive several hours to get to the decoy houses. I was seriously wondering if anyone I knew or knew of was going to be on it.
I just now learned there won't be any more. We will have to just watch the reruns on MSNBC.

IT was sick pedophile voyeurism, and I hope it was cancelled. It also cheapened law enforcement credibility on this serious issue by turning it into entertainment. Great Show?!?!
