For example Law Enforcement and Government?

I think that when people hold such power and have been known to abuse it, is a reason to be sceptically of their motives... Its just human nature of people not to give total and absolute trust & blind faith in individuals in general...

I think we learn to be cautious of people very quickly at a young age... Like the First time someone jumps off the bottom of the Sea-saw/Tetter-Totter & your at the top on the other end. I just think that People do things out of pure human nature and have thier own self-interests.

I think its nieve to believe that Politicians and people in Authority put ALL Our Best Interests first before theirs.

Hitler, Castro, Chavez are prime examples of power abused.

we can criticize our leaders without fear of repercussions. that is how it should be.

our politicians are men and subject to their proclivities. we should rid of selves of those who prove to be dishonest, regardless of their political affiliation. one rule should be for all and measured by the same yardstick. until that happens, we will have dishonest men in public office. we should hold all those who chose serve to a high standard for they have chosen to lead us abd we elected them to do so.

No one must put your whole faith in the powers that be. We are suppose to question and keep up to date with what politicians are doing in the name of our town/city or State.

In Connecticut, if people had not questioned the people in power; we would have a politician who committed crimes against young female minors. The Governor who abused his position in the State. And a State Rep for a city, taking bribes...oh the list is endless here in Connecticut!

So yes you should keep yourself informed.

No they should not unless they are part of the Borg Collective! This is why there are checks and balances in power for the people to put a stop to that kind of behavior! That's what led up to the Revolutionary War.

I have yet to have seen any authority worthy of that trust, and blind faith to me is the same thing as no faith at all.
