American football attracts the most attention in the US, but soccer is becoming very very popular among grammer school students and some high school people. Right now, the problem seems to be that most audiences do not know the rules and do not understand the game. This is changing. American football will always remain tough competition, because it is intricate, daring, and fast paced.

Not sure what you mean by this question. Check the FIFA World Rankings. US Men - 17th. Aussie Men - 49th. US Women - 1st. Aussie Women 15th. The US women have won 2 World Cups and an Olympic Gold Medal. The Aussie men, well some say were robbed by a diving Italian in the last World Cup.

Might have something to do within tellect! They are probably clever, in that they just dont want anymore frustration in life, than whats already on offer . Americans are results driven, soccer usually results in a non event , so why go to all the trouble for no end result !
