Because he speaks correct English and his pants are at his waist instead of down around his knees with boxers hanging out.

I don't think anyone disagrees that he's black....some just question if he's "black enough".

I know they used to say and many still hang onto the belief that if you have 1 drop of black blood you are black. But 1 drop of white blood doesn't make you white. So now it gets into "black enough" or "too white".

Not to mention he hasn't really lived the typical life of a black person in America.

I think he's a great guy and I do like his wife. But I don't agree with his political views so I simply can't vote in his direction. I would love to be able to get it done and over with and get the first black or woman president in office so we can get beyond this and start looking at their views and not what color or sex they are. I just can't cast a vote simply because they are the first black or female who's gotten far enough.

Half Asian and half black. I don't go around saying I'm 1/2 Irish.

I am so sick of people accusing educated, prosperous, African Americans of not "being black." As if accomplishing anything in your life is acting "white"...... and they accuse Caucasians of being racists.

I wouldn't vote for him, because of his politics--not because of his race or combination of races.

Who cares if he's black?

I guess they mean a) that his mom is white, and b) that he isn't 'American Black' as in being descended from slaves, since his Dad is from Africa, and he is more globalist than labor protectionist.

I don't like globalism, so I don't like him. I don't care what color he is, though.
