Like, PS2 prices are dropping amazingly low (well most), and I ran outta money for a WoW card (I want one month, not two, and I don't have a CC), so I'm looking into RPGs. I loved the .hack series, but not G.U. ..not yet, I don't like Haseo. I never got into Final Fantasy, so I'm not interested in those games.. I also have a GameCube, but I don't know any RPGs for that. I want one that features a lot of customization, but I'll sacrifice that naturally if the plot is good.. also, anyone ever play Digital Devil Saga? Is it good? Andddd! Is there a robot fighting game where you can customize the weapons? Like in MechWarrior? ((REMEMBER NO XBOX lol)) thanksss

Do you like turn-based or action RPGs? I'll list my favorite of each.

Fave turn-based RPG - Dragon Quest 8 - Journey of the Cursed King. This game is brilliant. It has a great and sometimes humorous storyline, lovely cel-shaded graphics, and the ability to create different weapons, armor, and items using the "alchemy pot".

Fave action RPG - Dark Cloud 2. This game has a targeting system similar to Legend of Zelda, a fun battle system, the ability to invent items, fun minigames, and a good story.

I highly recommend both of these PS2 RPGs.

Hmm...the Lego Starwars games are fun. You can try those. And the Zelda games, for just about any consol are fun. Zelda doesn't have a lot of customization but its still fun.
