We should all be world citizens. The men, women, and children of other countries are our brothers and sisters. We should be just as concered about the children of others as ours. Love thy neighbor, my brothers and sisters.

Im US born, a Viet Veteran retired military, a homeowner, taxpayer, educated parent, and registered to vote (everything that US politicians love). And I would rather claim to be a world citizen than a US one. More and more over the last decade.

yes and no.

A world citizen by my understanding should not relate to any one country.

Whilst I try and relate at the global level I still have attachment to my country of birth (Australia) and my heritage (Italy) especially in sporting contests.
