Lemonade
I have experienced all types of abuse, been hated by my siblings and others growing up. Taken advantage of by others, mistreated by friends and partners, and through it all I have chosen to be gentle and kind to others, even if they are not kind to me. I am no push over, I let it be known I demand to be treated right, but I still treat others with kindness.
When lemonade is made from fresh lemons, you must crush and squeeze the lemons with force to get all the best out of them.
Than you take the fruit and juice of that lemon mixed with the rinds, sugar, fresh ice cold water mix well and pour into a tall glass of crushed ice.
Go sit on the porch on a very hot summer's day and sip the lemonade. It took a lot to get it to this point but it taste's sooooooooo good, is satisfying and very refreshing.
I put the past behind me but took the lessons with me, made lots of delicious lemonade and sipped the pure, cold, sweet pleasures of my labor.

Sucks..........because a few years back I broke my leg and while I was off work , my work placed closed up , I had to move in with my sister and her husband or live out on the street , it's like living with my parents all over again , they snoop on everything I do ....been approved for disabilty but have received a check yet , getting calls from bill collectors , but can't them until I start getting my disabilty checks..plus I used to date a nurses aid , then when I broke my leg we broke up , I could of used her instead of her using me

Beautiful. I've been blessed with so many good things that I learned to appreciate as I get older. Of course I've had hard times but it makes the good times more valuable and enjoyable.
