Let x be the cost of 6 pairs of jeans:
4 jeans : 60 = 6 jeans : x
x = 60 * 6 / 4
= 360 / 4
= 90 pounds

Let x be the cost of 7 newspapers
2 newspaper : 60 = 7 newspaper : x
x = 60 * 7 / 2
= 420 / 2

Let x be the cost of 5 vases
3 vases : 60 = 5 vases : x
x = 60 * 5 / 3

first find out cost of one item or pair by dividing cost by number of items/pairs, then calculate the cost of the required by multiplying cost of ech item/pair with number of requred items/pairs
a)
cost of one pair = 60/4 = 15
cost of 6 pairs = 15 * (6) = 90

b)
cost of one news paper = 60/2 = 30
cost of 7 news papers = 30 *(7) = 210 pence

c)
cost of each Vase = 60/3 =20
costf 5 vases = 20 *(5) = 100

(4/60) = (6/x) x = (60*6)/4 = 90

(2/60) = (7/x) x = (7*60)/2 = 210

(3/60) = (5/x) x = (5*60)/3 = 100

let me do one as an example
If 5 Pairs Of Jeans Cost £95, How Much Do 8 Pairs Of Jeans Cost?

----------------------------

5/95 = 8/x
5x = 95 * 8
5x = 760
x = 152
So 5 pairs cost £95, 8 pairs cost £152.

---------------------------

There's another way to do this, you find the cost of 1 pair
95/5 = 19

each pair cost £19, so 8 * 19 =£152

Hope this helps you answer the rest
