Nope. actually we dont call ourselves hispanics or latinos in south america.

we call ourselves with our nationality.

Hispanic- speaks spanish (but its a term not even people from spain use it cuz we dont know that term till we go to USA lol)

latino-americano - speaks a latin language and lives in america the continent, but its latino for short.

Hispanic does kinda refer to Latins but, it does something with Spain and spanish. Latin refers to someone from Latin America.

"Hispanic" has nothing to do with Spain... we are called "Spaniards" the Spanish is Spain is quite different from the Spanish spoken in Mexico and other Latin American countries.

I think so, I am Dominican and it's locate it in the caribbean, and belongs to the antilles, but also we are call latinos, cause we speak spanish, and belong to latin american.

no. Hispanic are the people whos first language is spanish and latino is who live in latinamerica.

if someone is from latin or central america then they are latinos....not hispanic....hispanic means from spain
also i hate when people call latinos "spanish"
people from spain are spanish !!!!!!
