"Real change starts with being honest -- the system in Washington is rigged and our government is broken. It's rigged by greedy corporate powers to protect corporate profits. It's rigged by the very wealthy to ensure they become even wealthier. At the end of the day, it's rigged by all those who benefit from the established order of things. For them, more of the same means more money and more power. They'll do anything they can to keep things just the way they are -- not for the country, but for themselves.
[The system is] controlled by big corporations, the lobbyists they hire to protect their bottom line and the politicians who curry their favor and carry their water. And it's perpetuated by a media that too often fawns over the establishment, but fails to seriously cover the challenges we face or the solutions being proposed. This is the game of American politics and in this game, the interests of regular Americans don't stand a chance."

The slander on Edwards has been pathetic. Coulter epitomizes the right wing fascination with the gutter politics. Romney has more wealth than the other candidates combined. Being a Lawyer Edwards has fought for citizens against Corporations.

I keep hoping.-I really like John Edwards.
The question is whether the right wing machine can call him names and the sheep on the left will follow.
I read that Rove attacked Hillary because Rove knows that the left will go to the defense of the front runner when attacked-and sure enough, her poll numbers jumped.
John will protect us from corporatism better than others.

i've got faith John Edwards is a clever guy to not advise the two candidate reason he's probable waiting in the wings for the finished downfall of the Democrats after the convention and fall election and, being tremendously reasonable, figures he may be the suitable determination for 2012. The DNC needs to step lower back and reevaluate their values and place on the themes confronting this usa and get ALOT greater to the mainstream.

Do not believe everything you hear, especially in political campaigns.. However, there are two systems in this country. One system gives power to those who vote, one vote to each voter. The other gives one vote to every dollar. The two systems exist side by side and are equally powerful. The founding fathers were not poor men.

When is he going to start telling the truth?
Let's see, this guy lives in a 30,000 sq ft mansion, does work for a company that forecloses on the homes of hurricane victims, sues big companies and keeps half the money, pays hundreds for haircuts, but says he understands the common people, and even tries to use his wife's illness to win political points.
Yeah, right!

A speechwriter writes for politicians that's wy they look good. They only answer prepared questions during debates. Why do you think there is so much double talk and misinformation?

John Edwards is completely full of sh*t.
I dont usually talk like that, but I'm sick to death of people taking his bullsh*t seriously.
The man came up with a huge, complicated healthcare plan, which is nothing but an incomprehensibly complex continued subsidization of the insurance companies.
Not to mention that he has a blatant conflict of interest in his investments. Watch:

ALL Democrats are lying pond scum and most of the Republicans too!
John Edwards wouldn't know the truth if it bit him on the butt! Any truth he has told has been an accident.

I guess that once he starts telling the truth, we'll find out. Oh, wait a minute...he's a lawyer. Escuse me. My mistake.

I wouldn't vote for a liberal ever. I HOPE that Fred Thompson comes through and is as real a Conservative as he purports to be.
