Countries like Briain, Canada , Germany, Holland etc. need immigrants as the birth rate is so low that a shrinking population cannot supply an effective labour force. Working people pay the taxes that provide vital services like health, education, transport etc. None of the countries in need of such labour contributions can be accused of "reckless" immigration policies. The term "reckless" is often applied when citzens( mostly racially biased) resent people of other cultures or other races entering a country. IUsually these immigrants are prepared to do the kind of work that locals consider to be beneath their dignity. The answer is: no Britain will not be destroyed by immigration policies. Perhaps the "once proud proud Britain" has become a little too proud.

Yes, the truth seems hard to stomach for many people on here but you need to look at some facts.
We seem to be heading for a situation of squatter ghettos in the South-East due to Labour's immigration and EU policies. I for one, will be quite happy to see my way of life and country changed completely, and look forward to the prospects of never owning my own home, infastructure of a third world country and not getting a decent pension. In my old age, I welcome civil war, praying to foreign gods, and even more anarchy on the streets. (Can't wait!)

Just got back from Holiday in Spain, where our Villa was broken into and our passports, money, items of great value and items of no value, were stolen by, what the police admitted were not Spanish people but immigrants, who are turning tourist areas into no-go areas.

The whole "European Union" experiment has failed. It is time not for racist reasons but for pure common sense reasons to call a halt to the mass influx of foreign nationals, to not only our own country, but throughout the EU

Immigrants have always come to Britain but at an easy manageable rate on the infrastructure and on the culture, but because of Labours open doors policy I think we need to close the gates on any more for a while to redress their crazy policy.

Yes. by continuing importing immigrants, Britain will drown itself with outside culture. It already shows, for me as a north european tourist looking at the prosyrs about trips to britain, the pictures hussle me to almost think im reading a voyage add to india!

Immigransts should be collected with buses and helicopters from all over western europe, and immediately be returned to their own original homeland.
