Can you share any great moments or memories which will calm me down. I'm starting high school on Wednesday and I feel so scared....

I love highschool ^^ this year I'm a sophemore. The teachers are awesome and much more laid back than in junior high, like teachers would get really mad if you didn't do homework back then, in highschool, they're like "whatever, it's your grade, and now I have less work." And you can get awway with much more stuff [not that i'm saying you should be attempting to break any rules or anything.... haha]. Get involved in a club. All my friends are in drama with me and our school has one of the BEST drama departments in the country for a public school. it's pretty damn cool. We have like a sunk in stage where all the seats of the auditorium go down adn the stage is on the bottom.. i don't know how to explain it.. it's cool. But if you join a club like that you get to meet upperclassmen and make some friends. hm.. my best memory... haha. that would probably be when I went on a pranking spree at the end of the year. haha. I pranked my friend in French, then she got up, pointed to her face [i did the quarter trick adn she had a thick black line all the way down her forehead and nose] then shouted to the teacher "LOOK WHAT TONI DID TO ME!!" adn then everyone looked at her, and started cracking up and high fiving me, my teacher included. heehee. just find gullible friends lol. And then I had three of my teachers and a teacher that i did't even know look like they went crazy, sitting in a corner, rocking back adn forth in a chair, blind folded, with their hands together like they were praying.. haha. it was great. Highschool is just an awesome time. All you have to do is find the right type of people to go through it with and throw some interesting twists in there yourself. haha. wearing capes to final and talking with a scottish accent, best way to end the year. rofl. you confuse so many people. haha. best of luck in school! oh right.. finals aren't that bad. All mine we're waaaaay easier than the teachers make them out to be. Don't blow them off [i did that and tanked my hisotry final. haha. i actually wanted to do that just to say "haha. I failed my final and got and A in the class" heh. i'm not the best example i suppose...], but don't panic over them either. Most teachers give out study guides, if you do those, ces't tres facile. [it's very easy ^^] right.. NOW best of luck at school ^^ and have fun

Sorry. I hated it so much I dropped out in the 10th grade. After all of these years of struggling to get by, I pour drinks today. I'm a bartender. My wife is management in a hospital known around the world. She is an example of what you can be if you study hard and STAY IN SCHOOL. I am an example of what happens to you when you don't.

I LOVED high school I would totally go back! It's scary at the start but once you've settled in it's a lot of fun! Enjoy it while it lasts, college is so not fun:(

Well if youre an alternative , its not great..
but you meet more alternatives.. and make more friends..
You get laid throughout high school!!
Parties..
Standing up against the big one( u slowly get the guts)
Those are the good times

NO! It was OK with all the parties but people are so fake still! I would go back to college in a second but never high school. To me it is like your penance to go to college.

The first little bit of High School will be like the last part of last year ---you are going to love High School and it just gets better ----enjoy ! Sweetheart!

im starting 8th grade...
well, first, hun, im asking which high school you'll be going to? And to not worry, cause you're not the only one who's scared. Be yourself and you can always make new friends, but just be careful on who you pick. LIke this quote says, "as we grow up, we realize it becomes less important to have more friends and more important to have real ones." Be yourself and think positive, do well!! Best of luck~melissa.
