Not so simple.
I'd say it's more like a murderous bully elected the perfect President for itself.

Bush's runaway war spending and contemptible war-mongering has created a global society that fears and resents the United States. Like any schoolyard bully, such macho tactics will be counter-productive, as other nations decide they, too, must have nuclear weapons of mass destruction in order to defend themselves against the bully Bush and the Goliath United States of America.
Thomas Jefferson once said: "War is an instrument entirely inefficient toward redressing wrong; and multiplies, instead of indemnifying, losses."
Bullying our neighbors around the world will only result in more resentment and retaliation against the U.S.A. In this expanding global community, we cannot afford such avarice, arrogance and idiocy to prevail. -RKO- 09/02/07

No it hasn't. I seem to recall that about 3000 Americans were murdered on 9/11, which was the crescendo of attacks that we had been putting up with for the last 40 years, so any terrorist we kill now, I'm cool with.

No, I hope that you liberals know that when you use the word neocons, you are referring to ex-liberals, not conservatives!

Yep. I think that the '02 American filled planes that crashed in to the Towers and the Pentagon were coincidental accidents. Just bad landing attempts.

No. Who is killing who? Are American troops the ones planting car bombs in crowded areas? Blowing up trains and busses? Kidnapping and killing people? Sending 12-year-old boys into markets with bombs strapped to them?
Try thinking for yourself for a change; it might help you overcome your biases.
