*eat*: debires in dirt, or if yur rasing them they literally eat anything yoo put in the dirt. :P
*weather condition*:..??? cold-ish easy to dig thorugh dirt is all they need really

btw if yur going to raise them i dont recomend it....
the smell is....is......horrid!
it'll make yoo throw up honestly

They eat decomposing plant matter in the soil. They need a certain amount of moisture to be active; if the weather is too dry or too cold, they burrow down and hole up until conditions improve.

They do not eat dirt. They eat decaying plant matter and fungus found in the soil.
