I'm not really keen on double barreled 1st names and they're SO popular (common!)at the mo. I think Tayah is a beautiful name anyway so why not go with that on its own? You'd still be giving her a beautiful and unusual name, but without her sounding like every other one of her class mates will i.e Jacey Leigh, Mary Kate, Emily Grace etc etc!

Assuming you're saying Tayah TAY-a, I really don't care for the rhyminess of TAY-a-JAYD. Just sounds very awkward, know what I mean? Maybe something similar, like Talitha Jade (that's TAL-i-tha, by the way) would appeal?

The hyphen is also unnecessary, and will only be a hassle when filling out forms and such. Also, assuming this is intended to be a double first name -- meaning she would have a separate middle name -- leaving the punctuation out gives her much more flexibility. She could just as easily choose to go by simply Tayah OR Jade should she ever want. With the hyphen, it's more likely she'd feel obligated to use the "first" part, if that makes sense.

Hope that helps! ;)

I like Tayah Jade, but you shouldn't put a - between them just go Tayah Jade instead of Tayah-Jade. Or pick Tayah for the first name and go for Jade for the middle name.

I like the name but not both as a first name. I would name her Tayah Jade _____ and have Tayah be her first name and Jade be her middle name.

I say, if u like it then go for it. It doesn't matter what other ppl say or think of the name as long as u like it.

P.S. I like Tayah, it's lovely.

Good luck with whatever name u choose.

I prefer it spelled without the h, and I think it would save you some hassles if you used Taya as the first name and Jade as the middle name.
