I dont think I ovulated. I seem to usually ovulate between CD18 and 23, and this month, right around when I was supposed to ovulate, I got sick (so frustrating!) so my temp chart has a few gaping holes in it and make it difficult to pin down exactly when I ovulated. Well, my temp went up after I was sick (yay) then the next day went back down to ALMOST what it was pre-ovulation (its .1 degree above where my coverline would be...I think) And it was at that today.

Does this mean I might not have ovulated?
Is it still possible that I did ovulate?
Could my cold have caused this?
If you dont ovulate does your CM still reflect a normal cycle?

heres my chart:

Im feeling so confused. I thought I really had this charting thing down, and then it throws me for a loop again.

I think you still ovulated around your usual time. It looks like it might have been CD 18 or sometime around those "few gaping holes" :)) Remember that illness definitely affects your chart, so I wouldn't rule out ovulation, I would just chalk this cycle up to one that may not reflect it.

We're having a heat wave right now in California where I live...you should see my charts! I wake up in a pool of sweat and my temps are really wacky. Sometimes charting just isn't the perfect scenario it usually is. We're always going to have a chart here and there that's got a monkey wrench in it.

It looks to me like you're actually right on schedule.

Good luck!

I think you ovulated on day 19. You temps are still higher than the first half of the month. It spiked then went down, but still above coverline. On day 18 you had a dip in temps, which can occur right before you ovulate. With my charts, I dip, then slowly rise again. So I count the day after the dip as my ovulation date, even though my temps don't just spike right up afterwards. It takes me 2 days after to get to the really high temp.
