I am a Democrat, but I personally don't care if the candidate is in with the Hollywood crowd or not, just as long as the candidate is experienced enough and have all the right skills to be president.

It's because of the Hollywood crowd they are running with are liberals who are so antiBush and America that some of them actually go to our enemies and bash the country with them. Then you have idiots like Michael Moore who likes to trash the country to the whole world. These Hollywood republicans would never do that!

As someone said, "Hypocracy is the tribute vice pays to virtue." It's all just rhetoric. Republicans bloviate about "family values" and then have furtive sex in public restrooms. Democrats decry the "evil rich" while squirreling away vast fortunes via insider trading deals. It's all just for show.

How does the Republican support of a conservative who happens to be an actor amount to hypocrisy? Most of Hollywood are liberals who support socialist causes that are near and dear to Democrats. They use their notoriety and public position to push those ideas, which is what conservatives disagree with.
