it,s got to be tears for fears even though there sooo eighties
but from what i understand one of those eighties bands are
making a come back with a new album/cd and i heard it,s pretty good .

Don't get me wrong I like Tears for Fears
But Depeche Mode are my favourite.

I like Tears for Fears, I own their "Best of" on CD. I loved "Sowing the Seeds of Love" especially. But, where are they now? Depeche, on the other hand, have made a career of it. They started off as young lads making naive techno pop and ended up as stadium superstars, elder statesmen of the alternative genre. Take a listen to "Precious" or "A Pain That I'm Used To" and you'll realise that this is a band which evolved with the times, not unlike The Beatles during their comparitively short career as a band.

I was a dancer (dance teams, drill teams, ballet, jazz,etc.) in the 80's & Depeche Mode was great for that :-) So, Depeche Mode is the one I would choose out of the two :-)
