I think it's about 50/50. I've built walls against people who disapprove of me, especially my family. But I've built bridges with people who have relatively open minds. I've built a lot of bridges since signing on to Yahoo a little less than two years ago.

Subconsciously I have built walls. I Think in my effort to build those bridges, my immaturity and ignorance isolated me from the world of success. I think I just made things alot harder for myself that way. I think the key to building those stable bridges is to keep and open mind and to be educated. If you are not, you are going to keep taking the wrong path and ultimately... become lost. And I have found that when I am lost the best thing to do is not try to figure things out on my own, but stop and ask for directions. But make sure that person you ask understands where you are going and more importantly- where you have been.

I used to build many walls and block people out of my life. Then I had a turning point in which I tore all those walls down and made bridges. I am now an open book to people and welcome everyone with open arms, and I'm a happier person for it.

I have built bridges, blocked them by walls, and armed them on the other side. If that makes sense to you.

I would have to say walls. By my walls have a draw bridge that can be raised and lowered as necessary.

yes...sometimes the walls were as much to protect me as to keep them away...the only bad thing about walls, epically the ones you build around yourself is that you might do yourself more harm than good, its just easier not to build walls and walk away. If you build bridges then the good thing about them is that you get to burn them if you don't like the other side
