Like many younger siblings I was forced to face facts very early due to a jerky older sibling so I don't really remember believing in Santa. Which really makes me mad!

Haha. My mom actually never had to tell me. I figured it out on my own. I was a smart 3 year old ^-^. See. When I was opening my presents, I turned to my mom (They got this on tape), and said, "Mommy how did we get presents if we've got no chimney?" Then my mom said, "Santa came through the back door." But then I said, "How did Santa come through the back door of the gate is always locked." Then it kinda went to, "He jumped over the fence." Then to, "But Santa is fat."
Haha, my grandma told me later that day that Santa wasn't real. She didn't want to say it in front of my older sister (Who was 5). She believed until she was about 7.

I never believed in Santa but I played along. My dad was having fun dressing up like Santa and putting the presents under the tree in the middle of the night. Also my older brother believed in Santa, so I didn't want to crush their fun.

Errr, around 5, 6 something. Or, nicely, me and my twin have been enterprise set to coach our mom and father that Santa wasn't actual, and at 7, 8 or so, she (my twin) pulled off the beard after he become complete and had shown up interior the storage related to the living house. And we weren't stunned to discover it become out dad >_> So yeah.

I think it was similar to when I stopped believing in God. It just somewhat went away.
I believe in the Santa Claus that is referenced in "Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus" I print this up and hang it in my home & office hoping that others can see the magic that is Christmas through my eyes.

I think that for me it was the idea that my parents had told me all about the "person" Santa Claus. It was a little sad, but I got over it. Christmas is more than fat dude in a red suit giving out presents.

Yeah I think its sad that adults lie to there kids about Santa but at the same time its the whole imagination thing! My parents told me when I was like 7 cause we had no money and they didnt want us to think we were bad. at that age 7 year olds think they know it all, so I played it off like I knew and it didnt bother me, but deep down it did

I was in 6th grade I was like mom is Santa really real...and she was like "I told you last year that he isn't"
I guess I didn't really want to believe that he isn't real. Even though I don't believe he exists (anymore at least) It still is really cool to believe in him. I know I will pass it down on to my kids.

I don't ever remember believing he was real! I have 2 older sisters and we would find the wrapped-up gifts, play with them and then re- wrap them! Our parents had no idea!!

I took out my side arm & went on a killin' spree. I had the need to thin out the surplus population for the deception. I didn't want to do it, but I felt I owed it to them.
