There is a song on piano using chords, help identify? see details?

it starts with C(crotchet), C(dotted-crotchet), C, C, C, C, C,(Quavers), D(quaver), D(crotchet), D(dotted crotchet).

IT then goes to about F then resolves to C, im not sure if this was clear, but id be greatful for an answer, right or wrong

Its the melody, in a major key and it goes fairly slow
