if it's a 1988 1340cc Heritage softail and it only has 37K on it...it may look like it's in excellent condition....but it certainly sounds like it's been sitting around a lot....which could lead to some potential problems down the road....and I just want ou to know that most experienced Harley riders would be taking that into consideration when they looked at it.....you're going to need to find the right buyer to get top dollar though....I would have to say that any where from $6500.00 to $8500.00
USD...best bet....watch e-bay and your local motorcycles for sale magazines...they'll give you a good idea what that kind of bike is going for in your area.....don't be greedy...be realistic and you'll sell it faster.

best case $7500 worst $6000. to get more for it make sure it has new tires, brake pads, and oil change also make sure it doesn't have any leaks. if you got all that covered it will get you top dollar. if you can't get all that fixed up get an estimate from a mechanic on how much it would cost to fix. Then a buyer can't tell you it costs way more to fix than it does.

10,000 as a round number, but I'm sure you can imagine the condition and number and types of extras will influnce the selling price.

Check ebay motors and see what comparable bikes end up selling for.

Go to Kelley Blue Book ( http://www.kbb.com ) or National Auto Dealers Assn ( http://www.nada.com ). Both web sites list prices for used motorcycles.
