Can I add anymore bronze corydoras to a 29 gallon with 55 gallon filtration containing
-4 bronze cories
-13 female bettas
-1 dwarf bristlenose pleco
The filter has settings so the current isn't to high.
Thanks!

People, how many times do you have to be told the one inch per gallon rule is a bunch of malarchy!!!!!!! Sorry, not to be rude; but I am so sick of reading that!

I would only add 1-3 more. As you said, the faux "rule" "1 inch of fish per gallon of water" is just too inconsistent to be used. If you used that "rule", you could keep a 10 inch fish in a 10 gallon tank... the fish wouldn't even be able to turn around! So, with your 13 clean Betta girls, you should be fine with 5-7 Cories, especially if your tank has a lot of plants and hiding spots and you keep up your weekly maintenance. Email me if you have any questions.

Yes, you can add about 2 more corydoras but after that I wouldn't add anymore fish.

it depends on how big your fish are. The general rule is one gallon for one inch on fish so if you have a six inch fish then you need six gallons. So it all depends on how big your fish are already. But Bettas don't get that big so you should probably be OK.

Rule of thumb is one gallon per fish, two if it's gold fish, so I would say yes you have some room to spare. Good luck!
