For me, it depends on the context. If we're at the bowling alley, my daughter will call me by my first name. She says if she calls out, "Mom," ten women will answer. Otherwise, it's "Mom" and sometimes "God, Mother!" My stepdaughter calls me
Mum if she feels endearing, or by my first name if she is being businesslike. My son has never called me anything but "Mom." (To my face.)

Cheryl -- that is sooo funny. That's the sort of thing I could have said: "My son calls me collect!"

The old southern Momma by all. Ma by the oldest two when there complaining. Bahama Momma by my youngest son ocasionally. Mom in front of others by the youngest two. But most often Momma.

My kids who are now 37, 42 and 45 still call me Daddy. When some kid in WalMart hollers Daddy, I still instinctively turn around to answer before catching myself. I've seen other men do this, too.

My son calls me "Pops", he has always called his mother "Mom".

Our granddaughter calls me grandpa but when she was young called me "gwamp..a", sounding very much like something you had stepped in and wanted desperately to get rid of.

She calls her grandmother "grandma" but recently we found out that when our son and granddaughter talk about her, behind her back our granddaugher calls her "Germa", because all the birthday cards signed by grandma are signed with "Grma and Grpa."

Mom nearly all the time. Mother when he is mad or when he introduces me to others. Mommy on a very rare occasion when he has been very upset.
