When I look at this subject I look at the example of the Prophet(peace be upon him) and his wifes. Some were older some were younger. Proving age should not make a major difference.

i think that age shouldn't matter but lets face it , it does we all know that an older , more experienced man will treat you much better than a younger man who does not want to settle down and just wants to **** and go. i am 21 and the oldest guy I've been with is 47 and that is very recent ,my boyfriend is 13 years older than i am and we have a wonderful relationship ,i say stick to the older guys you won't be sorry

Yes.
With a younger man, or a man your age, you'd end up doing all the work. If you are getting married, you'll end up worrying about the wedding dinner bills, the relatives, the ceremony, the house, the loan, the housework and later the children.
With an older man, you can usually sit back and relax a bit more. They are usually more proactive and will handle more responsibilities and planning for life together.
Young man's slave.
Old man darling.

Here is the deal. Girls are more mature than guys. This is true of any age. I think the limit on an older guy dating a younger girl should be 15 years apart.
The girl should be atleast 25 years old.

I wouldn't marry a guy younger than me seen as how I am only 25. Men are pretty immature still in this age group. My husband is 26 and he's pretty immature. But at the same time I wouldn't marry a man that was 10 years older than me either.

yes, age matters. I'm 27 and I wouldn't marry an 18 year old. Someone that young probably wouldn't be serious about a relationship. Even if he thought he was, when he gets in his 20's, he'd probably wanna date around and end up cheating.

I don't think age matters in a relationship. As long as your happy with the person your with it shouldn't matter

Age only matters if one of the people is underage. If both are over the age of 18 then it doesn't matter. Personally, I wouldn't date a man younger than me but I would date a man much older than me. I tend to find some men even into their 50's attractive.I'm 24 and my husband is 33.

As salaamu 'alaikym , my friend.
It would all depend upon which culture you are residing in and/or are a part of.
IN the United States, age matters a great deal primarily due to the generational divides that occur in this country.
I was once married to a woman who was eighteen years my junior and, sadly, it did not turn out well with the only exception being my wonderful and beautiful daughter from that same marriage.
Ma'a salaam.

I am 48, my fiancee is 25, we are trying to get pregnant now, and are going to marry soon. We are very happy.
We have a few ups and downs now and then... but all in all, it is the best relationship I have ever been in. I have had a LOT of experience with women, and I am MUCH more mature and appreciative now than I was when I was younger.
She is happy to live in my home, to have financial security, to have a man that tells her that he loves her 50 times a day, a guy that is through with bars and clubs, a guy that wants a family and a home and a nice yard, etc....
I know there is no guarantee.. but we are happy now. I hope it lasts.
