It is better to sit on the fence and watch the drama as it unfolds and until it becomes favorable.

And I was all l set to say I'M pathetic right now...mumble grrr.

But with your criteria, I think most texting is pathetic no matter where it's done. Though I have to sort of learn it to be knowledgeable, which I like to be. And I've never had a chatmate except a thousand strangers here. Over a thousand. Here at YA.
Weird.

I actually find you pathetic in asking other people this question to other peopl and find me pathetic in answering this pathetic questions--By the way I am not joking---I really do find it pathetic, since it has nothing to do with you on what other people do with there lives and you should not judge them for it or even care----Who the hell cares if someone has to use a dating service to get a date? I dont and you dont use it so why do you have to find it pathetic? Why do you find it neccessary to judge it and look down upon the program? Why do you find it pathetic that a person has trouble finding the right one and is looking on the internet--I wouldnt do it and you wouldnt so who cares? It really has no relevance to your life and you are wasting energy asking the question. This is the type of person that is concerned in what other people believe in but that person is not affected by it and yet condems them for it by torturing them or something-- So that is why I find YOU pathetic

I don't think it's pathetic, whatever works for each person. I only think it's pathetic when people use it as a "meet market" and try to get as many new opposite-sex (or same-sex if that's what floats your boat) "friends" solely as an ego boost. I know a guy who spent obsessive amounts of time on plentyoffish.com and sites like that. That's pathetic to me.

What I find pathetic is, some of the questions asked on here, some of the answers and people who don't mind their own business.

I think all communication is a good thing. When my best friend moved to another country we didn't speak on the phone so much, we used MSN and email, and I've made loads of new friends via friends of friends of friends on MSN messenger. I love it, but I also think we need our "real time" friends too - a good mix is best.
