What a time to fizzle!

Do they have a chance to make the play-offs? I believe the manager is handi-capping the team. He has made some bad decisions regarding players.

The biggest ones are:
1. Letting Sexton play..when he was not producing.
2. Constantly changing the line-ups. Look at Boston, the same players play everyday. Here he changes the field like Ms. Marcus changes shoes!

Of course they have a chance. changing the line up is part of the game, and its stratagey for who they are facing. who cares if theyve lost 8 in a row, (even tho it is a concern of mine) that has no effect on games a month from now. im sure itd been easier to deal with or less unnoticable, had they won.lost,won,lost,won.... those 8 games.

it may have hurt a little but just remember, it isnt entirely what the mariners do, we have 3 other teams doing the same baseball thing we are, the yanks coudl lose 8 in a row anytime now. same with the angels!

thats the excitement of the game!

i totally agree.
john mc. has done bad since m.hardgrove quit.
and the offense really struggle, but richie is finally putting up some numbers though.

Yeah, agree to that too. I like Adam Jones and all, but i don't think we need young guys from triple A right now.
But I disagree as well, the mariners schedule is gruesome. They have only one more dayoff for the rest 40 something games, the skipper is just trying to rest some players for the big run. I believe the mariners will jump back after all they;re guys are rested.
and Yes, KILL NY!

The Mariners better start winning soon. What better time to start winning than to put the Yankees out of the wild-card hunt than in New York? Seattle needs a big play-off run. Mariners' fans have waited long enough.

I think the series coming up with the Yankees will determine their playoff status.

They still have a chance but they are fading fast. Also it is Sexson not Sexton.
