I know they're heartbroken and outraged at Lloyd.

On Monday at the Labor Day Party is it still ok to say "what the hell happened"

Normally I would say about 2 or 3 days, but this is like murder in the legal worlds...no statue of limitations. This one's the Murder 1 of college football screw ups.

Statute of limitations? Dang...to be perfectly honest...this is the kind of upset that you can throw at Wolverine fans for at least a decade (or until a bigger upset comes along).

This was not your average run of the mill upset. This was not Appalachian State beating one of the Service Academies...this was MICHIGAN! Michigan was (and still is) one of the most storied football programs in the history of the NCAA. They were ranked # 5 in the nation and were thinking National Championship up until yesterday.

Yeah...this is the kind of upset you can throw in the face of an arrogant Michigan fan for many many years. Now...if this Michigan fan happens to be a friend of yours...then I would go a little easier on him and just remind him of it all this season.

There is none.

It even goes beyond that and is now the ultimate argument ender. Whenever a Michigan fan even starts to talk about Michigan football and the legends of Bo and the Big House, all you need to say is "Appalachian State."

As a Buckeye fan, there has NEVER been a limitation on heckling M fans because if it was the other way around we would never hear the end of it. Well, at least until we beat them again!

The statute of limitations will only expire when an upset of bigger proportions occurs. So, conceivably, this could carry over into the next millenium.

it doesnt run out for wolvereenie fans.
they are still crying about losing to Michigan State 7 years when the clock run out!

So, to answer your question you may continue to dog them for the rest of time, and even in the after-life!

HAVE FUN! I KNOW I AM!!!

you should have said something at 5 o clock yesterday as soon as that final whistle blew. yes it is still ok to talk about it on labor day. i would say it is ok to mock them on Labor Day 2008. I officially give you permission to use that for the next 365 days at least, possibly longer depending on how they do this year. save this for next year "Hey remember last year when big blue lost to App State last year in the opening game? that was great."
