How about a day at the spa? Get mani s and pedi s and facials together. Make it a party.

Have a sleepover. Get mattresses from futons, etc. and cover the living room floor. Lots of pillows, covers, etc. Have pizzas delivered while you're watching a movie, and then do a craft project (e-mail me) and turn off all the lights and play "murder" in the dark.

When your friends ask, you say, I want a gift card to AE (your favorite store). I want some new jeans, but I've got to try them on myself.

My daughter has a collection or two--goofy socks and altoid tins, and she has a very old beanie baby collection. She loves jewlery, especially the latest trends--chandalier earrings, bangles and hair barettes. Or maybe there's a video that you've been dying to buy. Maybe you want a Blockbuster card. That's pretty popular a gift over here. My personal weakness is jammies. I LOVE cute jammies (tweety bird :))).

I hope you have a happy birthday, and if you need help with crafts, e-mail me. I'm a very crafty person (taught sunday school for YEARS!!!)

Don't forget the balloons. They don't have to be helium (just stick them to the ceiling with masking tape). Lots of ribbon tied to balloons.

A cool cake, and plastic champagne glasses, and non-alcoholic sparkling cider or somesuch. My daughter actually bought drink mixers, like strawberry daquiri and made them without alcohol.

Get the girls to help cleaning up, or you'll be doing it forever.

This is a compilation of my daughter's 14th,16th and 18th bday parties.

Take care and have fun! NO BOYS!!!

What teen girl doesn't love shopping at the mall? Combine your birthday celebration with a trip to the mall, and include a dessert stop at an ice cream parlor. For gifts, suggest gift cards or cash for spending.
