my macbook pro is asking for the master password? what is this? and what do i do? my installer cd is missing..

1). Try typing in your password for your account. If that does not work....

2). You will probably need to bring it to the Apple store which you got it from...They should be able to fix it.

you will need to contact apple for help with this. the only way to reset a master password is to reinstall

try reformatting your system i had to do it myself since i couldn't remember my password,that fixed the problem,but save your important files since you will lose them
