I can even (if I try hard) understand how she might feel sort of a little something for Bush (sorry for him or something) but Cheney? He is the most despicable man on the planet. What has he done to deserve someone's admiration?

She probably owns a few million shares of Halliburton. That;s the only justification I can think of for loving the most despicable public official since Ferdnand Marcos.

There are always going to be the "true believers" whether they support Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush, the Clintons, even fundamentalist muslims or other religions, because they are brainwashed. They want simple answers to complex problems and they need an authority figure to tell them what to think , they are incapable of looking at the facts themselves and discerning information.

Not alot you can do for any of those people because they are of blind faith and no matter what facts are presented to them they will not believe because they KNOW their leaders are trustworthy and telling them the absolute truth. They are also scary in a thinking conscious society.

Cheney has buffaloed people so long that to the uninformed he may sound better than real life. If she read any books about the White House and its occupants she would reverse her opinion.

For her own reasons and that should be all we should ask of people in forming an opinion. Would you rather us all be robots who believe the same thing? I personally respect both for their years of service in our government and specifically for their ability to propel our economy forward and in their execution of the Terrorist's War Against Us.
