Leona Helmsley, but her children are all millionaires in their own right, and it was two of the grandchildren she left out of her will.... who both already have huge trust funds. No starving children in this gene pool!

You just can't get ANYTHING right, can you? If you spent more time LISTENING and less time trying to think of somthing brilliant to say on Answers, then you would know she left 12 (TWELVE) Million to her dog and 5 (FIVE) Million to 2 of her children... but cut the others out of the will for personal reasons... NOBODY STARVED... so enough with the mis-information, hysterical diatribes.

Leona Helmsley? I think it was 12 million, but I'm not aware of her starving children...I think they would be about 50 years old.

Leona Helmsly The Queen Of Mean as they called her. She left a lot of her money to charity and 12 million to her dog and nothing to her grandchildren.

Leona Helmsley. But that money she is leaving to her dog, any that is left after the dog dies is going to charity. That is a lot more than anything any of us will ever give to charity.

It was HER money why can't she do with it what she wanted to? There is no reason for anyone in the US to be starving I am sure you heard of food stamps.

It was her money to do with as she pleased. She left millions to charity.
Maybe she thought her children would waste it on drugs. Who knows?

Perhaps her dog was used to luxury.
