Not just one song, but one album once. I was tripping at the time, however, so perhaps I'm not a good example. It was Moody Blues, but I don't remember which album.
If you had attempted to play the same song for six hours within my hearing, I would probably have broken the record (or CD or whatever) long before that amount of time. I think perhaps six playings would be enough.

I would play the 45 on my record player and cry...kinda weird huh?

Maybe not just one song, but Rob and I are putting together a list of songs known as "our list" that we will listen to in 6 days' time together. There are songs that I suggested and songs that Rob loves and asked me to add... I brought myself to adore all of them... In particular there are 4 songs that I could listen to endlessly: "I Don't want to miss a thing" and "Angel" by Aerosmith; "Will you still love me" by Chicago and "I Never Needed you" by Lonestar.... If you feel like crying because you are missing someone, be my guest! I could send you these songs!!
Hugs xxx
