I've been receivng 4 per week from liberal yahoo and friends. And none of my comments were so "outrageously offensive " to any liberal.

What does this show you? It shows you that liberals are only for free speech when it's in accordance with their rhetoric.

God Bless America

The violations I received were from answering other liberal's questions.

None of my answers were insulting, offensive, or threatening.

I have not received any violations, knock on wood. And I ahve been rather factually insulting to liberals. I present my opinions based on facts and there is no arguement.

I mean how do you aregue that Bill Clinton was an unfaithful husband? How do you deny that Ted Kennedy worte the current education bill? How do you deny William Jefferson is a crook?

Try using the facts to state your opinions and things should settle down a little, I would hope anyway. Good luck.

Go to my avatar and see what I added yesterday. My home computer was down for 3 days. I've always left my questions and answers opened and all hell broke lose against me. However, I avoid the confrontational political questions and focus on law and ethics/humanities instead. Therefore, I don't think it's the nature of your questions/answers. I think it's just some real wierd people that frequent this site. I got to a high level 6 with 2 violation notices and then get 23 in a day--when I haven't even been on-line? As far as I can tell, if you just hit "report abuse" on anyone, Yahoo does zero analysis and you lose points. I have no information on why I got violations. It said "posting offensive content or other violation of community guidelines or terms of service." Since I haven't been posting, someone must have reported all my open answers. However--I'm not conservative, so that's where I have trouble with your theory. One of the last questions I answered was "Are there any moderates at this site?" I said "yes" and explained I have conservative positions on some issues/liberal opinions on others, so I'm probably moderate. Anyway, my point is that your problem is not evidence of liberal bias on the part of YAHOO--but anti-conservative users instead. For me--I assume someone has a personal issue with me, but I don't know why. I am, of course, real disgusted with Yahoo. If they have this forum, they should insure it's fair. EDIT: I went back and checked your avatar. That's a lot of information to digest and I don't know if I feel that strongly on all the issues you listed, but I like your honesty and it sure doesn't make me want to report you--so I came back and starred your question.

I think you're being paranoid.

I'm as liberal as you are conservative.

The only times I've reported people is when they were offensively racist, maybe three times in my career.

I do agree that the Yahoo violations notices are crazy. Whenever I've gotten them, there's never been an explanation, and the violation is subjective at best.

I've been getting about 2 a week, and every one of them have been for something pretty benign. Of course, I wrote to Yahoo's Customer (We Don't) Care about each one and received the stock answer back that they will investigate (Yeah, right!) but nothing ever gets reversed. There's some libs out there that just love to report you every chance they get.

If you ever come across a question that only incites ad hominem attacks at conservatives from the beginning, it is a troll.
I've attempted to answer these questions in the past, and almost always got reported.
Today I read them for a laugh, but never answer them. If you answer, it opens the door for the lemmings to attack you from behind.
No pun intended.

I am not sure why you have been receiving violations. I am not Rep or Dem.
What might not seem offensive to you might be to others.
I just see things how they are.
One thing I noticed in your profile was that you wanted people to vote Republican in 08
That I have a problem with. Not just with you but any American who would vote one party before they even know who will be on the ballot come voting time.
I see many Americans voting republican just because that's what they think they are.
I see many people who have your same values vote Dem.
All I ask is that you judge who you will vote for by the person running and what he can do for our country.
Not just because he is a republican.

Minne have been less as I report back to Yahoo as the left uses this as another means to stop free speech and thought.
I will fight their fight to get the truth out. Don't let them stop you.
And when they do it reply to Yahoo it seems to work when they look in to it.It stops the left from their acts.

I have received none.
I consider myself a fiscal conservative, I'm a veteran, and come from a long family line of Republicans. Since the advent of talk radio and Fox News, the republican brand has become tarnished by rude and abrasive personalities. This kind of behavior has become so much the conservative norm that those who model it hardly recognize it as un-civil behavior.
I notice that you have all your questions hidden. And there seems to be a contradiction in your profile. It reads "...I try to be a loving Christian." and "...liberalism is a mental disorder." If Christ said to love your enemies.???

I think we should all be able to answer honestly. Your free speech is as important as mine. Just different sides.
God Bless us all.

If it looks like a troll, acts like a troll and baits like a troll... Don't feed them. They exist to give conservatives violations and come back with multiple Id's.

Don't fall for the bait! :)
