Either is correct but the hypothesis is if a person say it is half full they are happy. If the people say half empty the person is most likely and hypothetically unhappy. Either term is correct but say you drank from a glass hypotheticcaly it is 1/2 empty because you took some away. But if you just keep adding water with out taking any away its half full. This topic is not fully discovered.

There are many people who always see the darker side of everything. That depends upon the the psychological state of his mind. The optimists always see the positive side or the brighter side of the thing. Whether you say half full or half empty idea is the same.
Now ,let me ask you a question.
One fruit costs half a dollar
Two fruits costs: Half x 2 = Full= One dollar.
A widow has two doors.
When one door is closed, Half the window is opened
When two doors are closed: Half x 2= Full window is opened.
Can you agree with this?
My dear asker, please be an optimist, not a pessimist.
