W = (P - 2i)/2

P=2i+2w
P-2w=2i
2w=2i-p
w=(2i-p)/2
w=i-1/2p

They want +1W all by itself, preferably on the left side of the equal sign
P=2i+2W
P-2i=2W
(P-2i)/2=W, or W=(P-2i)/2
I like this as the final answer, but if you wished, you could write it as W=P/2 -i
