If you call T mobile they might be able to help you. Tell them you are going out of the country and that you would like to renew your contract but they you are not going to be using the phone during the months of (whenever your are gone). They might be able to charge you like $10 a month so just you can keep your number while you are not using your phone. Hope that makes since and that you have a good trip.

go for reliance mobile! get any scheme set. then, rs.99 card every month to enjoy 49paise for all mobiles like bsnl, airtel within state and 15 paise for all reliance mobiles within state; and from 10.00 pm to next morning 08.00 pm FREE calls!rs.30 pack helps you unlimited free sms within state to all bsnl, airtell mobiles etc. it will not cost you more than rs.330 per month if you are calculative in making calls.
