Not so good because if someones will pronounce the name Jye its quite confusions when it comes to spelling. You should think of a name thats unique but easy to spell and pronounce.

Its okay and definately not a bad name but there are a lot of kids with the name Jai/Jye/Kai/Kye. My daughter has two boys in her class this year with that name. Personally I think there are better names out there, but if you love it there is nothing wrong with it!
Good luck

1. I didn't know how to pronounce it until you said it rhymes with eye. What about the people that don't have the benefit of knowing that?
2. People will think it is misspelled - Jay.
3. Just seeing the name I would not know if it is male or female.
4. I think there are too many 'unique' names today that kids have to spell over and over and over and over their entire life. Please give that some more consideration.

sorry I dont like it and I think there is a chance that it would be mis-pronounced and said as JAY rather than Jye.

What is the big fascination with making names almost non existant?? I heard a kid named AJ and said what does it stand for to the Mum said oh it doesnt stand for anything we just like AJ as a name!!!!!!

please give your kids REAL names with a bit of strength in them

I don't really like it that much. It is creative, I give you that. But when your son starts going to school, teachers and other people won't know how to pronounce his name. What about Jay? Sort of similar and still pretty uncommon.
Good luck!

It sounds a bit weird to call. Try naming him something else if you have a option.
