It is a little known fact that the fish that crawled out of the water on its fins and made its way to the next water hole was called Adam. The long held memory (millions and millions of years) of this event and name is what led to primitive people identifying Adam as the creation of God.
We don't know what was the first and it helps to define "step" as in walking and staying on land, etc.

well if you can take step foot as merely existed it would be simple prokaryotic bacteria, capable of doing not much more than growing and reproducing.
if you want the first thing with a litteral foot, it'd be the early amphibians. ones that were almost still completely fish except for the presence of crude lungs.
as for names if you accept the bacteria answer then there isn't one. all fossils from that time have most likely been destroyed. recycled back into the earth. as new top layer were added they were forced down and by now are magma in the core. but hey, what do you expect its been billions of years.
the earliest know amphibians have names, but they are mos likely millions of years after whatever actually was first on land. given time i'm sure some will be found and named.
