I'm not really answering your answer but it's about the PS. His older sister called 'nee-san' that your talking about is in a Japanese language. Also known as onee-san or onee-chan or just nee-san for short. The meaning is older sister. Sorry if it didn't help :p

I am sure that is The Law of Ueki. The way you put it seems different but Kousuke Ueki is the son of a heavenly being, not god and a heavenly beast named Tenko trains Ueki to raise his star level of a heavenly being. But his older sister's(adoptive) name is Shoko Ueki. Ueki doesn't have a younger sister but his best friend's name is Ai Mori. But he calls her Mori.
Well what you described is very close to the Law of Ueki. I'm thinking it's The Law of Ueki though.
